Follow The Light
Cassandra Hill has built a thriving life, especially in the last three years, marked by quickly growing her business and personal brand.
But it hasn’t always been this way for Cassandra… Years ago Cassandra Hill was at rock-bottom and didn’t know what the future held.
Coming from a fractured childhood with a very chaotic home-life, Cassandra’s Mother died of a heroin drug overdose and she grew up with uncertainty. Cassandra’s father raised her and her sisters with the help of family friends however by the time she reached early adulthood, she was failing at school and her life was spiralling out of control.
Desperately wanting to escape the small town she grew up in, Hill ran away to Sydney when she was just sixteen to start fresh where no one knew her or her past. She had a burning desire inside to be successful and break-free from the self doubt put upon herself and also the doubt that others put on her too.
With her upbringing and circumstances, she felt like she was destined to fail, but Cassandra was desperate to make something of her life.
Throughout her journey, Cassandra Hill has endured anxiety, low self esteem, eating disorders, alcohol abuse and multiple hospital stays placing her life at risk.
When told by doctors that she wouldn’t be able to become a Mum if she didn’t change her life, she knew something had to change drastically.
Step by step Cassandra began to transform her life. She realised letting go of unrealistic expectations for perfection would allow her to thrive and find strength on a personal and professional level.
Cassandra shares a behind the scenes view of her journey and how she changed her life. With an open heart, Cassandra shares her truths and hardship as she encourages others to find their light, even when it’s dark.
"It took a lot of strengths to overcome the lowest times of my life, break the cycle, and give myself and my daughters a life that I never had. Maybe the final hospitalisation was necessary; I came out the other side and changed my life for good. I often reflect on what my life would have looked like if I hadn't hit rock-bottom and made those changes. This helps me appreciate the life I've created for myself. Over the years, many others desperate for help to change their lives have reached out to me, seeking guidance and wanting to know how I did it. I've become so passionate and driven to help others find their light too”
In 2024 Cassandra launched a positivity and mindset movement
